How is the Lord leading you ?

Behind the scenes, there has also been an inestimable amount of administrative and logistical work done to make the replant a possibility. Throughout this process, our church has taken steps of faith and watched God provide.

The first time our Idlewild family learned of the potential of replanting Palm Avenue Baptist church was around 18 months ago. Since that time, excitement around this dream has grown. Behind the scenes, there has also been an inestimable amount of administrative and logistical work done to make the replant a possibility. Throughout this process, our church has taken steps of faith and watched God provide.

Now, we are praying for the Lord to provide again! We are praying for at least 20 families from our church to commit to be a part of the launch congregation at Palm Avenue. Many of you have expressed an interest and have been prayerfully considering whether the Lord is leading you in this direction. We are now opening a survey to help us identify those who are committed, considering, and praying for the replant congregation.

From these results, we will begin organizing our Serve Teams for Connections, Next Gen, Parking, etc. So, this survey is a key part of our planning for the replant launch. As an incentive, we have a fun Palm Avenue sticker for everyone who completes the survey. We’ll have a table up at local missions Sunday where you can come pick up your sticker and connect with others who have committed to be a part of the congregation.
